Picture of a Cat, a Watermelon, and a Lake

If you are an internet aficionado you probably have seen this photo before. It is almost a classic to be completely honest, but have you taken the time to laboriously analyze it? Well, I have. So there are two items here that don’t seemingly connect. A cat and a watermelon. In fact, watermelons are one of the last things I think of when I think of cats. “Do cats even like watermelon?” I thought, then I started laughing until blood came out of my nose. The answer is no, cats do not like watermelon. I tried to feed some to my cat and he just ran away, of course they always run away. Anyway here is this cat, that looks as if he is deeply concentrating. Some say he pushed a watermelon out of the lake. However he doesn’t appear to be wet. That’s when I figured out that for some reason, the cat is keeping the watermelon from rolling into the lake. It’s also weird because why is the cat at the lake anyway? And we all know cats hate water, so it must be pretty important to him to keep that watermelon out of the lake. The picture is entertaining and somewhat of an enigma to me.
